HMRC and Companies House portals, managed every day, not just at deadline.
Submissions, status checks, correspondence tracking, and account admin across both systems — kept current without pulling your senior staff away from advisory work.
Both portals, watched every working day
Agent access across HMRC and Companies House, kept current and monitored — so submissions and correspondence don't sit waiting for someone to notice.
Portal submissions
Routine filings — VAT, PAYE, confirmation statements, and annual accounts — submitted through your Agent Services Account and Companies House WebFiling, tracked start to finish.
Status & correspondence tracking
Submission status, HMRC correspondence, and Companies House notices reviewed daily, so nothing sits unread until a deadline is close.
Account administration
Agent authorisations, client links, and portal access kept current across both systems as your client list changes.
ACSP identity-verification admin
Handling the Authorised Corporate Service Provider paperwork and identity checks Companies House now requires for anyone filing on a client's behalf.
Portal access only works if someone is watching it daily
Correspondence and status changes don't wait for month-end — so we don't either. Both portals are checked inside your GMT working day, every working day, under your firm's existing agent access.
Three steps to handing over portal admin
No new agent account, no new authentication codes to reissue — access is set up inside what you already have.
Access set up
Agent authorisation and Companies House authentication codes are set up under your firm's existing agent account.
Daily monitoring
Submissions, status checks, and correspondence across both systems are reviewed and actioned inside your GMT working day.
Reporting back
Anything needing a professional judgement call is flagged to your team immediately — everything else is handled and logged.
What is an HMRC agent services account used for?
An agent services account (ASA) is how HMRC-authorised agents access digital services on a client's behalf, including Making Tax Digital for Income Tax and VAT. It's separate from the older HMRC online services account, which many firms still use for non-MTD Self Assessment work.
Do accountants need to register to file with Companies House?
Companies House is phasing in a requirement for anyone filing on behalf of clients to register as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) and complete identity verification, on top of the client authentication code already required for each filing.
What is a Companies House authentication code?
It's a unique code Companies House issues to each company, required before an agent can file confirmation statements, accounts, or other changes to that company's register.
What's the difference between an agent services account and HMRC online services?
The agent services account is the newer system used for Making Tax Digital and other modern digital services, while HMRC online services is the older system still used to access Self Assessment records for clients not yet in MTD. Many firms currently need both.
